The Minister of Internal Security of Galmudug Issack Ali Subag chaired a meeting of the Security Council of the administration which was attended by security officials from various departments and officials from the international community in Somalia.
The meeting heard a report looga some security officials have said troops were conducting security operations in areas south of policy actions against Al-terror attack in county and city.
During the conference, it was decided to launch an operation against Al-Shabaab fighters to oust them from their strongholds in southwestern Somalia.
Minister Issack Ali Subag thanked the security officials for their efforts to ensure security in the areas under his administration, and encouraged the international community to work for peace and development in the region.
