The President of the South West State, His Excellency Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen, chaired the Meeting of Directors General of the Ministries of the South West State, which was held at the Presidential Palace in Baidoa.

The meeting focused on accelerating the work of ministries, strengthening coordination between government agencies, the impact of drought and the implementation of development plans that prioritize social services. They also discussed existing challenges and how to find sustainable solutions to achieve efficient and effective governance.

The President commended the Directors General for their efforts, urging them to strengthen efficiency, accountability and service to the people, and accelerate the implementation of the South West State’s development policies and programs.

President Laftagareen stressed the importance of continuous collaboration, good leadership, and responsibility, to ensure sustainable development and quality services for the people of the South West State.
